Nonstationary traffic

Nonstationary character of traffic in mobile communication networks is connected with the movement of subscribers and with changes of their local concentration as well as with dynamic nature of information interchange. In 2G – 4G networks, a wide scope of modulation techniques, coding and applied priority levels is implemented in order to reconcile the technical and technological capabilities with users’ demand.  The network of the McWiLL standard is a specialized system and therefore is notable for its higher indices with respect of interference immunity, encryption strength and service stability under dynamically varying traffic. A special technique applied to coding of multiple OFDM-signal subcarriers provide a fine tuning of the radio channel to the observed level of signal-to noise ratio, adjustments of the priorities and balancing the uplink and downlink streams. The introduction of the “sleep” and “deep sleep” modes ensures a substantial economy of energy and resource.
