Comparison of efficiency of LTE and McWiLL networks in voice transmission mode

Abstract. Comparative analysis was made for capacity of the LTE and McWiLL networks when providing voice and short messages services. It was determined that the VoIP technique used in LTE leads to substantial losses. In McWiLL networks a special protocol is used for voice service. It was demonstrated that due to this protocol the McWiLL networks surpass the LTE networks in the index of number of voice channels per bandwidth unit by a factor of 1.7…2.4 (depending on operation conditions).
