Specific factors of McWiLL network planning with consideration for electromagnetic compatibility with LTE networks in adjacent frequency bands

Abstract. Negative effect is noted on a wideband trunking communication network due to the use of the spectrum-distribution method based solely on the frequency selection. Technology was considered for frequency-territorial-angular diversity to ensue EMC between McWiLL 1800 and LTE 1800. Methodology was proposed to evaluate the increase of design complexity due to need to meet EMC requirements. The methodology showed that for McWiLL 1800 the complexity is growing not more than by a factor of 1.5.
