Circular-antenna size optimization and rules for setting up territorial clusters in McWiLL cellular network

Abstract. Parametric model was proposed for a base station of cellular network offering a unified approach to describe the adaptive antenna operation and the algorithm of radio-channel resource distribution among subscribers in network with OFDM signals. On the basis of the model a version of composite parametric criterion was proposed for McWiLL network allowing for numerical determination of optimal characteristics of antenna array and of resource-distribution rules. Obtained evaluations of advantages are significantly higher than those for fixed tree-sector site organization that is widely used in mobile communication networks.
