The method of parameters setting for the cellular network base station antenna for achieving the maximum gain value

The problem of synthesizing a pin multielement antenna of a cellular communication network with a maximum gain in directions of a given elevation angle and a circular shape diagram in the azimuth directions is considered. It is shown that for the problem solution it is possible to use the criteria and techniques developed for adaptive antenna arrays. Using the McWiLL antennas example of the 330 MHz band it is shown that the proposed method allows increasing the gain factor with respect to the traditional version of the Dolph-Chebyshev antenna by 1.8 dB.
